Here at Sayers Road Tankers we have many enquiries for new vessels, occasionally it may be the case that once we look at the equipment people are wishing to upgrade we can guide people down the refurbished route, a new tank is not always the only answer. There are good cost savings to be had and when completed it is very difficult to differentiate between new and refurbished.
Basically anything can be done and the level of refurbishment is down to you as a user. New stainless steel running gears can be fitted and your tank remounted to operate at 44 tonnes, vessels can be reclad, new cabinets fitted the list goes on. If your barrel is serviceable it is always worth looking at this an option and a sensible one in some cases.
We will always advise customers if we feel there is potential and likewise advise if the cost would be too great.
